Harewood sits within easy access of the vibrant cities of Leeds and York, yet in the heart of beautiful Yorkshire scenery. One of the Treasure Houses of England, Harewood House is surrounded by over 120 acres of gardens and parkland and has a fascinating past. Built as a showhome by the finest craftsmen of the time, it was once the home of Princess Mary, Queen Elizabeth’s aunt and today is open to the public, programming seasonal exhibitions of national significance, working with modern and contemporary artists and presenting special events and engaging weekends throughout the year.
