Venue information
A vast medieval fortress which experienced a famous siege and later became an Elizabethan palace, Kenilworth Castle is among Britain’s biggest historic sites. Discover famous associations with Queen Elizabeth I and her favourite, Robert Dudley or climb the viewing platforms to enjoy breath-taking views once enjoyed by the Queen. The Elizabethan Gardens have been restored to original designs with a Renaissance aviary, 5.5 metre high marble fountain and colourful planting. A new exhibition for 2017 will focus on Sir John Siddeley, the motoring and aviation pioneer, once Lord Kenilworth who owned the castle.
